Power of Parents: Being All-Star Parents for Your MVP’s
Spring is in the air and sports in full swing. Whether your child plays sports or not, we know that every parent wants their kid to hit one out of the park when it comes to making good choices. That’s why for April is Alcohol Awareness Month, MADD is providing parents with the resources they need to make a game plan when it comes to talking about alcohol with their kids. PowerTalk 21® day – the national day for parents to have conversations with teens about alcohol – is April 21st.
Talking with teens about alcohol will increase the chances of them choosing not to drink and brings you closer together. Research shows that parents are the number one influence on children’s decisions about alcohol. So believe it or not, YOU are the biggest influence on your kids, not their friends.
New Video Series
