“We are dismayed to hear of yet another Pennsylvania State University fraternity’s potential involvement in a situation that left an 18-year-old man unconscious and hospitalized after allegedly drinking alcohol. Drinking under the age of 21 is dangerous and often deadly. While we are thankful that this young man is recovering, so often these situations turn into tragedies. This should serve as a wakeup call to parents, college administrators and community members. We must do more to send a clear message to those under the age of 21 – drinking alcohol underage is never okay and neither is riding with a drinking driver. Our kids’ lives depend on it.”
