MADD Sports Celebrity Golf Classic Unites Athletes, Advocates, and Supporters to Raise Scholarship Funds and End Impaired Driving

MADD Calls for Supporters to Tee Off for a Cause and Enjoy an Unforgettable Day of Golf, Giving, and Impact on May 19

(Irving, Texas – March 3, 2025) One swing can help save lives. Mothers Against Drunk Driving® (MADD) is uniting sports legends, corporate leaders, and advocates for the 2025 MADD Sports Celebrity Golf Classic on Monday, May 19, 2025, at Brooklawn Country Club in Fairfield, Connecticut. This event will spotlight MADD’s mission to eliminate impaired driving while honoring victims and survivors.

With the support of celebrity co-chairs Lindsay Czarniak and Kenny Mayne and a star-studded lineup including NFL Hall of Famer Tim Brown, the event will raise critical funds to support MADD’s mission and the Jake Panus Walk-On Scholarship, which honors the legacy of Jake Panus, a dedicated student and athlete who was senselessly killed by an impaired driver. Inspired by Jake’s passion for sports and service, the scholarship helps young students pursue their dreams while reinforcing the importance of making responsible choices.

“The MADD Sports Celebrity Golf Classic is more than just a tournament—it’s a driving force for change,” said Stacey D. Stewart, CEO of MADD. “Every dollar raised brings us closer to a future where our roads are safer and lives are protected from impaired driving. This event serves as a powerful reminder that every action—on and off the course—can make a difference.”

“Safe roads start with all of us,” said Kenny Mayne, legendary sports broadcaster and event co-chair. “The MADD Sports Celebrity Golf Classic is a powerful opportunity to unite, take action, and make a real impact in the fight against impaired driving. Together, we can turn awareness into lifesaving change.”

“Golf unites competitors and communities, and when used for a mission like MADD’s, it becomes a catalyst for progress,” said Lindsay Czarniak, award-winning sports broadcaster and event co-chair. “We have the power to turn passion into purpose—saving lives, supporting families, and creating a future without impaired driving.”

The 2025 MADD Sports Celebrity Golf Classic offers golfers, advocates, and businesses a powerful opportunity to support a life-changing mission. The event will honor victims, drive progress, and support efforts to end impaired driving for good.

Sponsorship opportunities range from $250 to $2,500 for non-playing supporters, while golf sponsorships start at $5,000 and go up to $50,000. Top-tier sponsors receive exclusive benefits, including three foursomes each with a participating VIP/Celebrity for 18 holes playing as a fifth, participating in a remote broadcast of The Rob Dibble Show live from the Brooklawn Club and extensive media exposure. This includes coverage on Fox Sports Radio WUCS, 97-9 WAVZ 1300, iHeart Radio, and other major outlets, along with 18 professionally produced 30-second radio spots airing on Fox Sports in the week leading up to the event.

The MADD Sports Celebrity Golf Classic is part of a larger effort to engage the sports community in the fight against impaired driving. Through its MADD Sports initiative, MADD partners with athletes, teams, and organizations to raise awareness and promote responsible choices. By leveraging the influence of sports figures as role models and organizing impactful events, MADD Sports inspires action—especially among younger generations—to build a future free from impaired driving and underage drinking.
