Anthony "Tony" Brown

Tony joined Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) as VP of Technology on February 6, 2023.  In this role, he demonstrated exceptional leadership and strategic acumen. He was responsible for aligning Information Technology and cybersecurity with the organization’s strategic objectives, showcasing a remarkable ability to integrate diverse backgrounds in leadership positions spanning risk, network, web, and project management.


Before joining MADD, Tony amassed over 21 years of invaluable experience at Hallmark Cards, Inc., where he held several key leadership positions, such as VP of Global Supply Chain, VP of Infrastructure and Operations, and CIO of Hallmark International. His tenure at Hallmark was marked by significant accomplishments, including spearheading global supply chain reconfiguration initiatives, resulting in enhanced productivity, reduced costs, and streamlined operations. Furthermore, he led large-scale business transformation endeavors for Hallmark International, demonstrating his proficiency in driving organizational change and innovation.

Tony’s commitment to community service is equally commendable. He has served on multiple non-profit boards, including Jackson County (MO) Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), Niles Home for Children, and the Maddie Rhodes Center. Additionally, he is a founding member of The Lamp Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to providing scholarships and mentorship to deserving college students.

A Prairie View A&M University graduate with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics, Tony brings expertise and a passion for leveraging technology to drive organizational success. Outside work, he enjoys traveling with his wife, Gwen, and engaging in friendly golf matches.
