Dad I miss you every single day. You were only 39 years old now as an adult I realize how young you were. It was a horrible head on collision that I will never forget. A drunk driver hit our car at full speed never breaking the only reason his car stopped is because it hit us head on. All of us coming back from a family retreat and our lives were changed forever. Mom was in a coma for three months her head injuries causing her to forget who we were. My brother broke his hand and had a laceration to his knee only 12 years old, my sister had a broken pelvis and a laceration to her foot she was only 9 years old. I had lacerations to my face 58 stitches to my forehead and a broken jaw also lacerations to my chin I was only 15 years old. Not a day goes by that I do not think about what happened to us. Our family was never the same after that. You were taken too soon I wish you were still here. I do believe I will see you again someday. I light this candle for you!
