MADD Announces Kevin Byrne as Chief Financial Officer

Irving, Texas, February 11, 2026 – Mothers Against Drunk Driving welcomes Kevin Byrne as its new Chief Financial Officer. As CFO, Kevin will oversee the organization’s financial strategy, operations, and stewardship in support of MADD’s core mission to end drunk and drugged driving, support victims, and prevent underage drinking.

“Kevin’s leadership and expertise across the nonprofit and for-profit sectors add a strong, well-rounded financial perspective to MADD at a critical time for our organization,” said MADD CEO Stacey D. Stewart. “We are proud to have him on board as we continue our fight to end impaired driving for good.”

Byrne brings more than 35 years of corporate and nonprofit financial leadership experience to MADD, including over 25 years in senior executive roles. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer at Great Hearts Texas. His prior leadership includes serving as CFO of The Wesleyan, a continuing care retirement community in Georgetown, TX. His career also includes senior leadership positions at McKesson, DJO, Argo Group, USAA, and KPMG LLP. Byrne has also led consulting engagements for both for-profit and nonprofit healthcare organizations.

Kevin earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, and a bachelor’s degree in business administration and communications from the University at Albany, State University of New York. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
