5/26/24 – MADD Hawaii had a wonderful time supporting Safe Ride Hawaii with their annual Zumbathon where they raised money for their cause and celebrated Azalia’s heavenly birthday. It was great seeing the community come together while getting an awesome workout in.

5/22/24 – Congratulations to the class of 2024! Mahalo to Mililani High School and their football team for inviting us to the sign-waving event to bring awareness to impaired driving and safe driving practices. It is great to see our youth out in their community making a difference. Let’s all make our roads safer for everyone by choosing to drive responsibly.

5/13/24 – Mahalo Jarrett Middle School for inviting MADD and Brittany Cass to speak to your students. Brittany was able to share her story and educate youth on the dangers of drinking and driving. The presentation concluded with asking students to take a pledge by signing their name and pledging to 1. NOT drink alcohol before age 21, 2. NEVER ride with an impaired driver, and 3. NOT drink and drive.

4/30/24 – Remembering Kaulana Werner – if you drink, don’t drive! Mahalo to Honolulu Police Department for your hard work keeping our community safe and always being there for support. Thank you to community volunteers and MADD board members for joining the sign-waving event and sobriety checkpoint honoring Kaulana who tragically lost his life to a drunk driver. We will continue to stand together and raise awareness against this 100% preventable tragedy.
