Hogan Nonprofit Business Plan Competition – 2nd Place!

We’re thrilled to share some exciting news from the recent 2024 Hogan Entrepreneurial Leadership Program/American Savings Bank Nonprofit Business Plan Competition on April 18th! MADD Hawaii had the incredible honor of clinching second place, earning a generous $11,000 prize to advance our Summer Teen Influencer Institute.

The journey to this achievement has been nothing short of inspiring. With passion and dedication, our team worked very hard to craft a business plan that not only captures our vision but also resonates with the community we serve. We are committed to empowering youth voices and tackling critical issues surrounding underage substance use and impaired driving.

We are so grateful to Chaminade University for hosting this remarkable competition and providing a platform where nonprofits like us can showcase our ideas for social change. Their support has been invaluable in helping us bring our vision to life and making a meaningful difference in the lives of Hawaii’s teens.

We also want to take a moment to congratulate all the other finalists. Your dedication and creativity in addressing societal challenges are truly commendable, and it is an honor to stand alongside such inspiring organizations.

With the support of our partners, volunteers, and supporters, we are more determined than ever to continue our mission of creating a safer, healthier Hawaii for all.
