My Son Ivar was only 12 years old when he was killed by a drunk driver when he struck his car into ours on June 18, 2022. I would like to talk about who Ivar was, My son had a beautiful soul, anyone who had the pleasure of knowing him would say that he was a very noble, loving, and respectful boy. Always with a big smile on his face. He was learning to skateboard and was very excited to learn professionally. Ivar had just graduated from 6th grade on June 15th, 2022 and was very excited to go to Middle School. He was academically advanced and a very kind boy, willing to always help his classmates and anyone who needed it. He liked to draw, he loved to play video games, listen to music and he loved to read. He really enjoyed spending time with his family, we were everything for him. He had many dreams and goals to fulfill. He was excited to turn 13 and be a teenager, but that couldn't be anymore. That night I will never be able to forget it, it is not easy to see your son die. I still remember when I called him by his name and he didn't answer. When a paramedic told me that he passed away and I wanted to revive him, I begged God to return him to me and asked my son to please breathed , that his mother was here, not to leave, but he couldn’t hear me anymore. I had to go home without one of my children, without understanding what was happening, I couldn't believe it. This man left a shattered family and a mother that is empty feeling dead inside.
