My husband and I suffered through infertility for five long years. Negative after negative after negative test nearly broke us. I'm December 2024, our prayers were finally answered when we found out we were expecting our miracle baby boy. He was so wished for and loved by so many already. We all anticipated his arrival! I had a very easy pregnancy and our boy was growing healthily! When I was 35 weeks pregnant, my friend and I were driving home from another friend's baby shower. It was 4:15 on a Sunday afternoon. An impaired driver hit us head-on, causing a placental abruption and my sweet boy was taken from us before he even had the chance to live. Hudson Antonio Loura was born sleeping on July 13, 2025. He weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce, was 19 inches long, and had the most beautiful auburn red hair. He is missed so dearly by his mom and dad, as well as countless friends and family who were so looking forward to his arrival.
