Saturation Saturday Garnered Public Awareness, Arrests in 2023

In conjunction with the national ‘Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over’ campaign, law enforcement agencies throughout of the state of Illinois stepped up their DUI traffic safety enforcement on ‘Saturation Saturday’ – August 26, 2023. Statewide, 15 law enforcement agencies participated, whether it was conducting a sobriety checkpoint, saturation patrol or simply adding on one or two officers to the shift that evening to focus on DUI enforcement.
