Meet The Staff Monday!

Meet the Staff Monday! We have a bunch of new people who have liked our page, so we figured it was time for some staff introductions!

Meet Victim Services Specialist Michelle Chamberlain. Michelle graduated from Albertus Magnus College in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and English. She is currently working on her Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice. Michelle started getting involved with MADD CT by participating in the Branford Walk Like MADD after losing her best friend to a drunk driver in January of 2013 and after her aunt suffered a traumatic brain injury due to a drunk driver in December of 2013. She volunteered for two years before joining the staff in September of 2015 as a victim advocate. While she spends most of her time in court supporting victims of drunk and drugged driving, she has also shared her story at the Victim Impact Panel, driving schools and high schools with the hope that what happened to her aunt and best friend will make others think twice about getting behind the wheel impaired. When not at work, Michelle spends her time raising her 4 year old son Asher (Pictured here).
