MADD proudly recognizes Officer Stevn Van Zanten as our Officer of the Month for January 2024. Officer Van Zanten is an officer with the Enumclaw, Washington Police Department. He received the Officer of the Year award for his agency in 2022. Enumclaw is a city of nearly 13,000 residents near Mount Rainer, Washington.
Officer Van Zanten is a young officer with three years patrol experience. He arrested and processed 70 impaired drivers within the City of Enumclaw during 2022 and 2023. He has also assisted other officers in processing impaired drivers and has become his agency’s go to officer for questions and guidance on impaired driving enforcement.
