L. Todd Kelly
Partner
Board Certified Personal Injury Trial Lawyer and Carlson Law Firm’s North Austin office partner, Todd Kelly leads a litigation team that helps victims of drunk driving vehicle crashes, commercial trucking crashes, wrongful death, traumatic brain injury, workplace catastrophes, sexual offenses, and birth-related medical neglect in Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, Oklahoma, Virginia and Pennsylvania, as well as the occasional appearance in other states.
In addition to his notable work as an attorney, Todd serves as the Chairman of the MADD Central Texas Advisory Board.
Todd's life has been dedicated to making America safer. He began that service as a Marine Corps combat engineer officer. He now continues in that work by protecting those truly injured people who will never get the justice that our system promises to them without holding greedy, powerful corporate entities responsible for the damage they cause. As a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates, as a member of the Executive Committee of the Texas Trial Lawyers’ Association, and as president of the Capital Area Trial Lawyers Association, he is a staunch defender of our 7th Amendment Right to Trial by Jury in all civil cases with a value exceeding $20.00.
A 2013 inductee into the Texas Lawyer Hall of Fame, Kelly earned two spots in the Texas Top 50 Verdicts in 2018 and led his team to another such spot in both 2019 and in 2020. AV-rated by Martindale-Hubbell, Kelly has been selected as a Texas Super Lawyer for ten years.
