Why We Walk: Celebrating progress, honoring loved ones in 2017

walk like MADD

The 2017 Walk Like MADD season was one of our best years yet.

We saw new walks form and more volunteers get involved to raise awareness and mission critical funds. Walk events across the country were filled with moments of remembrance and inspiration as they walked together to turn their pain into purpose.

We are immensely grateful to the more than 28,000 participants who registered to run, walk and come out in support of ending drunk and drugged driving.  The community made a commitment to stop this 100% preventable crime and rallied together to raise over $3.7 million dollars. The funds raised will be used directly in those communities to make the streets safer for everyone!

10th anniversary of Walk Like MADD

2018 is a milestone year for Walk Like MADD as we celebrate 10 years of an event that has brought people together to say enough is enough and remind them that they are not alone on this journey.  We look forward to continuing our efforts to offer families a place where they can come together to end drunk and drugged driving once and for all.

Remember to register at walklikemadd.org to find an event in your city!
