Mothers Against Drunk Driving would not be where it is today without the determination of our volunteers. It takes everyone to eliminate drunk and drugged driving.
This month, we recognize Ms. Joan Halsell of the New Mexico affiliate. Joan has been a longtime volunteer and supporter of MADD New Mexico. As a funeral director, she is exceptionally compassionate and has been dedicated to MADD’s mission for over a decade.
She currently sits on the State Advisory Board and multiple subcommittees including the Law Enforcement Recognition event and the Candlelight Vigil. She also continuously provides the venue for the December Candlelight Vigil and helps to seek donations for all MADD events throughout the year.
She is not only helpful and resourceful; she is a cheery addition to any meeting or event.
