MADD Tennessee offers Online Victim/Survivor Support Groups for impaired driving victims whose crash was in Tennessee, or whose crash was elsewhere, but they live in Tennessee, and they live too far away to attend our in-person support group in Nashville.
The online support group is a time of open sharing – though no one will ever be forced to share! Please join us as we grow as a community who supports one another deeply.
This month’s topic will be:
Grief Process: Coping skills for dealing with grief and where are you now in your grief process?
The dates for September 2019 are as follows:
September 17, 2019 at 6pm CT for those in the Western Half of the state – Contact Kara Lonsway, Victims Support Specialist at [email protected] (or 615-360-8055 x4755) to RSVP and obtain instructions to join.
September 9, 2019 at 6pm ET for those in the Eastern Half of the state – Contact Jami Wilson, Victims Support Specialist at [email protected] (or 615-360-8055 x4756) to RSVP and obtain instructions to join.
If you are unsure which one to attend, contact a Victims Support Specialist who will be happy to assist you.
Note: This meeting is a VICTIM Support Group intended to provide emotional support to those who have been negatively impacted by a drunk or drugged driving crash. It is NOT a meeting for DUI offenders (those who have been charged, arrested, or convicted of DUI or similar charges.) The class MADD offers for DUI offenders who have been court ordered to attend a class, is called a Victim Impact Panel (VIP). You can click here to register online and/or find information regarding dates, times, and locations for MADD VIP classes across the state.
