MADD Tennessee offers Online Victim/Survivor Support Groups for impaired driving victims whose crash was in Tennessee, or whose crash was elsewhere, but they live in Tennessee. In compliance with CDC Guidelines regarding COVID-19, we are not offering in-person Victim/Survivor Support Groups until further notice. Instead, all victims, statewide, are invited to join us for our monthly Statewide Online Victim/Survivor Support Group.
The online support group is a time of open sharing – though no one will ever be forced to share! Please join us as we grow as a community who supports one another deeply.
This month’s topic will be:
Secondary losses – How life changes after the crash. What else have we lost?
The date for May 2020 is as follows:
May 11, 2020 at 6pm ET for all victims statewide – Contact Jami Wilson, Victims Support Specialist at [email protected] (or 615-360-8055 x4756) to RSVP and obtain instructions to join.
Note: This meeting is a VICTIM Support Group intended to provide emotional support to those who have been negatively impacted by a drunk or drugged driving crash. It is NOT a meeting for DUI offenders (those who have been charged, arrested, or convicted of DUI or similar charges.) The class MADD offers for DUI offenders who have been court ordered to attend a class, is called a Victim Impact Panel (VIP). You can click here to register online and/or find information regarding dates, times, and locations for MADD VIP classes across the state.
