We are super excited that we have so many of our community’s friends and family walking or running at our third annual Walk Like MADD & 5K!

Our goal is to create an event that is fun for the whole family.

However, we cannot lose sight of the fact that this event is also a fundraiser.  All the money raised stays in our community to end drunk and drugged driving crashes.  This is a public health issue that ends 10,000 lives per year and injures almost 300,000 people with countless families affected forever.

MADD SWFL provides free programs to youth, support victims and survivors, promotes law enforcement initiatives and takes legistlative steps to ensure that impairment and driving do not mix.

TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL  – 100!

It’s not too difficult to raise $100….  Here are some tips

• Donate to yourself
• Ask 10 friends to donate $10
• Put out a request to your social media network
• Skip Starbucks or Dunkies for a month
• Save your lunch money for two weeks and brown bag it to work
• Have a ‘dress down’ day at work for a fee
• Host a potluck dinner or lunch and ask your guests to donate what they would have spent at a restaurant
