MADD SC Welcomes Intern Heather Williams

We’d like to introduce you to a new member of the team for the next year.  Heather Williams is a BSW student at USC and will be working with MADD as our Victim Services intern over the next two semesters.  Heather began with us last spring on a limited basis as she began to learn about our organization, but the intensive portion of her internship is during the 2017-18 academic year.

Heather is from Hopkins, SC and came to USC after a year at USC-Upstate.  She’s also interned with LRADAC in the past and even attended a MADD event while there.  Heather recently attended our Victim Advocacy Training Institute and will soon be fully certified as a Volunteer Victim Advocate.  With MADD, she will be shadowing our Victim Services staff, directly supporting victims, assisting with victim services outreach efforts, and refining our resource database for victims.  We’ve already enjoyed her energy and enthusiasm and look forward to a great year working with her!
