Senior Trooper Solomon Albert
Virginia State Police

MADD proudly recognizes Senior Trooper Solomon Albert as our Officer of the Month for February 2024. Trooper Albert is with the Virginia State Police. He has served the State of Virginia as a trooper for 16 years.

Trooper Albert’s supervisor, First Sergeant Joseph Brown advises that “Trooper Albert is certified as a Drug Recognition Expert. He uses those skills learned to enhance his efforts behind DUI enforcement. He gives assistance to other law enforcement agencies to assist them in the evaluation of impaired drivers.

Trooper Albert himself made 73 DUI arrests in the 12-month period leading up to the MADD Virginia Awards Ceremony in Oct. 2023. Trooper Albert is unsurpassed in the Virginia State Police – Richmond Division for DUI arrests. Trooper Albert has been the MADD yearly award recipient for his regional office of the Virginia State Police 10 times.

We are proud to recognize Virginia Senior Trooper Solomon Albert as the MADD February 2024 Officer of the Month. We thank him for his dedicated service to the citizens of the State of Virginia. We wish him the best in safety and wellness in the remaining years of his career and service.
