Welcome Makena Young – Underage Drinking Prevention Specialist

Makena earned a BS in Public Health and a Master of Public Health with an emphasis in Health Administration and Policy at the University of Nevada. Makena lived in Hawaii when she was young, grew up in Nevada, and moved back to Oahu after she graduated from school. She has a passion for working with non-profit organizations, and in her spare time enjoys reading and hanging out with her dog Buddy. We’re thrilled to have Makena on board and excited to relaunch our UAD program in Hawaii.
