Tie One On for Safety 2019

We’ve set the date for the Tie One On for Safety Kick Off event. This event marks the start of our annual holiday campaign to remind Hawaii’s community about the dangers of impaired driving and drivers during the holiday season. We do this by handing out red ribbons to tie onto your car as a reminder and to demonstrate to others your commitment to NO MORE VICTIMS.

The Kick Off event is Thursday Nov. 14, 2019 from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at Tamarind Park in downtown on the corner of Bishop and King streets. Join us and our partners, Toyota Hawaii, DTRIC and Uber as we share important information and updates about the problem of impaired driving, sample freshly made of MockTails and share creative ideas for where and how to tie red ribbons onto your car. Mayor Caldwell, the Honolulu Police and Fire Department and other first responders will also be in attendance.  Join us!

This year you may pick up your free ribbons at

– Toyota Hawaii show rooms and sales lots across the state
– Napa Auto Parts locations across the state
– Foodland stores across the state
– Zippy’s restaurants across the state
– Aloha Island Marts across the state
