GEORGIA ANNUAL STATEWIDE VIGIL

Each year, MADD gives a voice for the victims and families impacted by drunk & drugged driving at its annual Vigil. The Vigil provides a forum for people, injured crash survivors, and their caregivers to reflect, share, comfort and to be comforted. Attendees “light” a candle, and recite the name of the person they pay tribute to as well as get to chare what they remember as well as what gives them hope. A slideshow presentation depicts photographs of those killed & injured on local roadways.

The vigil is also open to those emotionally impacted by DUI such as first responders, law enforcement, prosecutors, and court advocates.
