SUMMARY:2017 Georgia Statewide Candlelight Vigil
DESCRIPTION:GEORGIA ANNUAL STATEWIDE VIGIL\nJanuary 27\, 2018\nNorth Georgia\nCovington\, GA\nEach year\, MADD gives a voice for the victims and families impacted by drunk & drugged driving at its annual Vigil. The Vigil provides a forum for people\, injured crash survivors\, and their caregivers to reflect\, share\, comfort and to be comforted. Attendees “light” a candle\, and recite the name of the person they pay tribute to as well as get to chare what they remember as well as what gives them hope. A slideshow presentation depicts photographs of those killed & injured on local roadways. \nThe vigil is also open to those emotionally impacted by DUI such as first responders\, law enforcement\, prosecutors\, and court advocates. \nTo have your loved ones photo included on the memorial & tribute wall\, please email heather.brooks@madd.org
