Annual Butterfly Release Held in Moultrie

The annual MADD South Georgia Chapter Butterfly Release honored DUI victims, their families and crash survivors on July 8 in Moultrie.

Speakers included Landon Albeson, Chaplin, Tift Regional Medical Center; Roger Hayes, Law Enforcement Services Director, Governor’s Office of Highway Safety; and Sheriff Billy Hancock, Crisp County Sheriff’s Office. Others in attendance were Sheriff Rod Howell, Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office; Cantrell Cooley, Georgia State Patrol Post 12; members of the Moultrie Police Department and the Colquitt County Sheriff’s Office; victim families from South Georgia and MADD Georgia South Georgia Chapter Leader Gary Robinson.
