Walk Like MADD is a day to bring together victims, survivors, and community to remember those killed or injured by drunk driving and to take steps toward ending drunk driving. The event draws 250 people and is a day for community to rally and take a stand against drunk driving while raising funds to support the mission of Mothers Against Drunk Driving – funds that stay in Colorado to help keep our communities safe!
This year’s Walk events will include:
- Victim Tribute Area
- Memory Mile
- Festival vendors
- Food and Refreshments
For over 30 years, MADD has helped save lives—but people continue to be killed and injured by this 100% preventable crime. By participating in Walk Like MADD, you help make our Colorado communities safer.
VICTIM TRIBUTE
Activities prior to the start of the Walk will focus on honoring those killed or injured by drunk drivers. Victim tribute activities will be located in our special Tribute area of the event where attendees can participate in a number of tribute activities including adding the names of loved ones to a memorial wreath. MADD Victim Specialists will also be available in the Tribute area for those attendees who may need some emotional support on the morning of our event.
