Operation Dry Water

This weekend, July 1 & 2, 2023, MADD Hawaii will join the U.S. Coast Guard for Operation Dry Water. National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) coordinates Operation Dry Water annually in partnership with the U.S. Coast Guard as well as local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. The national awareness and enforcement campaign is focused on reducing the number of alcohol- and drug-related incidents and fatalities and fostering a stronger, more visible deterrent to alcohol and drug use on the water. 

MADD Hawaii volunteers will be providing educational materials at the Keehi (Honolulu) and Heeia Kea (Kaneohe) Small Boat Harbors on July 1 & 2 in conjunction with the USCG Vessel Exam operations.
