SUMMARY:Middle TN September 2019 MADD Victims Survivors Support Group
DESCRIPTION:Impaired driving victims and survivors are invited to the Middle Tennessee MADD Victims and Survivors Support Group. The group will meet on Thursday\, September 12\, from 6pm-7:30pm. \nThe support group is a time of open sharing – though no one will ever be forced to share! Please join us as we grow as a community who supports one another deeply. \nThis month’s topic will be:\nGrief Process:  Coping skills for dealing with grief and where are you now in your grief process? \nFeel free to invite any others you feel may benefit from attending. \nContact Kara Lonsway at kara.lonsway@madd.org (or 615-360-8055 x4755) to RSVP and to request location details. \nLight snacks will be provided. \nNote: This meeting is a VICTIM Support Group intended to provide emotional support to those who have been negatively impacted by a drunk or drugged driving crash. It is NOT a meeting for DUI offenders (those who have been charged\, arrested\, or convicted of DUI or similar charges.) The class MADD offers for DUI offenders who have been court ordered to attend a class\, is called a Victim Impact Panel (VIP). You can click here to register online and/or find information regarding dates\, times\, and locations for MADD VIP classes across the state.
