SUMMARY:March 2021 Statewide Virtual Support Group
DESCRIPTION:MADD Tennessee offers Online Victim/Survivor Support Groups for impaired driving victims whose crash was in Tennessee\, or whose crash was elsewhere\, but they live in Tennessee\, and they live too far away to attend our in-person support group in Nashville. \nThe online support group is a time of open sharing – though no one will ever be forced to share! Please join us as we grow as a community who supports one another deeply. \nThis month’s topic will be:\nGuided Imagery \n \nThe March 2021 group will be a Statewide Virtual Support Group held as follows: \nMarch 8\, 2021 at 7pm ET/6pm CT \nIf you are in the Eastern part of the state\, you may contact Jami Wilson\, Victim Support Specialist at jami.wilson@madd.org (or 615-360-8055 x4756) to RSVP and obtain instructions to join. \nIf you are in the Western part of the state\, you may contact Kara Lonsway\, Victim Support Specialist at kara.lonsway@madd.org (or 615-360-8055 x4755) to RSVP and obtain instructions to join. \n  \nIf you are unsure which Victim Support Specialist to contact\, either one will be happy to assist you. \n  \nNote: This meeting is a VICTIM Support Group intended to provide emotional support to those who have been negatively impacted by a drunk or drugged driving crash. It is NOT a meeting for DUI offenders (those who have been charged\, arrested\, or convicted of DUI or similar charges.) The class MADD offers for DUI offenders who have been court ordered to attend a class\, is called a Victim Impact Panel (VIP).
