MADD’s PowerTalk21\u00ae is a season dedicated to inspiring intentional, ongoing conversations between parents and kids about alcohol.\u00a0 Every conversation is possibly a chance to save a life \u2013 a child, parent, or friend and family member. This year\u2019s PowerTalk21\u00ae theme \u201cLifesaving Conversations Start With YOU!\u201d focuses on reminding and empowering parents that their voices matter and that their kids are listening! They have the influence over their kids\u2019 decisions around underage drinking.<\/h5>\n
We invite you to join us Saturday, April 22nd from 12pm to 2pm at OC Workforce Innovation High School in Anaheim for our PowerTalk21\u00ae event in partnership with the Orange County Health Care Agency. The purpose of this event is to create a space for parents\/guardians and teens to have important conversations, receive tips and tools to make these conversations effective, plus hear from other parents, teens, and experts about their experiences in preventing underage drinking and substance use. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.<\/span><\/h5>\n
