Walk Like MADD Columbia Presented by Uber Set for April 14th
The 5th Annual Walk Like MADD Columbia Presented by Uber is set for Saturday evening, April 14th, with a new time, a new location,
and new attractions! Whether you’ve been to one Walk, all of them, or never been to one before, you’ll want to be a part of this special event. You can register today at www.walklikemadd.org/columbia.
This year, we will be walking at the SC Criminal Justice Academy—the place where our state’s officers are trained. And this year is more than just Walk Like MADD. When our Walk ends Saturday evening, we will move into our night of statewide enforcement called “Shine A Light on Drunk Driving.” We’ll cheer on our Midlands law enforcement heroes and send them off into the night with our support. We’ll also be connecting with law enforcement agencies doing DUI enforcement all over the stat
e. This is a wonderful chance to remind our officers how much they are crucial to the Campaign to End Drunk Driving and to hopefully have a night with no preventable drunk or drugged driving tragedies.
