On June 7th<\/sup>, MADD\u2019s VIP speaker, Michael Gershe, Executive Director of The Magic of Life Foundation <\/a>\u00a0hosted his second annual Top Cop OVI Recognition event in Summit County.\u00a0 The event honored law enforcement officers who have made a positive impact in making the Summit County community safe.\u00a0 The event also raised funds for the foundation to prevent impaired driving and to help those impacted by it. Congratulations to this year’s honorees.<\/p>

The Marty Gershe Community award honors the outstanding achievements of persons who inspire others to live better lives.<\/p>

Andrew Moncheck Courage Award:<\/strong> Officer Ralph Stover, Tallmadge Police Department.<\/p>

The Andrew Moncheck Courage award\u00a0honors officers who demonstrate an exceptional presence in the community with strength and perseverance to keep the community safe.\u00a0 This award is in memory of Andrew Moncheck who was killed by a drunk driver in 2014.<\/p>

Also in attendance was celebrity emcee Kathy Vogel from 97.5 WONE, and Comedian Jeff Blanchard who\u00a0roasted Judge Kim Hoover along with many others.<\/p>
