On January 26, 2019, Cuyahoga County OVI Reduction Task Force recognized police officers for their outstanding efforts in keeping our roads safe.  The Cuyahoga County OVI Task Force is a multi-jurisdictional coalition of 45 law enforcement agencies dedicated to making Northeast Ohio roads safer for all of us.  The OVI Reduction Task Force is a countywide partnership led by University Hospitals of Cleveland. The mission of the task force is the reduction of impaired drivers and the continuing education of the harm that can be caused by impaired driving. According to the national Highway Safety Administration, nearly 30 people die every day in drunk driving crashes across the United States.<\/p>\n

MADD would like to congratulate all the officers on receiving an award for their efforts in reducing OVI-related accidents. Their efforts surely saved lives and prevented alcohol-related traffic tragedies in our community.<\/p>\n
