To both ensure a great event and the health and safety of everyone involved we have created a hybrid event that will be mostly virtual with a chance for participants to drive-through an interactive event site. Here are all the ways you can be involved in the event!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

On October 11th-Day Of the Event!<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

10:00 a.m.-Join us for the online event kick-off, where we will be chatting with our 2020\/21 honorary victim families and discussing why we Walk Like MADD.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

11:00 a.m. \u2013 1:00p.m.- Watch our social media channels for why we walk videos from our team captains.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

2:00 -3:00 p.m.-Drive through \u2013 Join us by driving through the parking lot 1 at Holmes lake in Lincoln where we will have a victim memorial, a pup tent and a photo op\/pledge board. You can also join in our car decorating contest, by MADD decorating your car. We will also be doing a live video on Facebook for those who can\u2019t make it do drive through.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

After The event!<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Watch our social throughout the week for announcements of team fundraising winners and shared photos and videos of those walking across the state!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Anytime!<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

-Walk Like MADD and send us your photo! Whether it is the day of the event or prior, throw on your MADD gear and get moving like MADD. You can do it on your own, with your team, or even on a treadmill. Whatever works for you, just don\u2019t forget to send us a photo\/video or tag us on Facebook @NebraskaMADD<\/a>!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

-Play MADD bingo! Print off the MADD bingo card (available from Facebook\/Twitter or just email us for a copy) and mark it off during the week of the walk. Send in your bingo card to sara.draper@madd.org<\/a> to be entered to win prizes!<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

-Fundraise! To help us get to our fundraising goal we need your help. While we enjoy the fun and interaction of the event, we also are coming together in support of the MADD mission. The funds raised from this event are vital to MADD Nebraska and work here in our state to help support our programs to educate and eliminate impaired driving. Head to walklikemadd.org\/Lincoln<\/a> to make a donation or share with others to help support MADD in Nebraska.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

-T-Shirts. Event shirts will be given to those who were registered to walk prior to 9\/14 (our shirt deadline). But, if you would like to order a shirt you can do so by emailing sara.draper@madd.org<\/a> prior to October 12th<\/sup>. cost for shirts will be $20.00 payable by check or cash only. All shirts will be delivered after the event.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
