The 14th Annual Golden Shield Honors recognizes law enforcement offices and agencies, DUI prosecutors and community advocates who make a difference. For the past 14 years, the Governor\u2019s Office of Highway Safety has joined with MADD Georgia to celebrate our partners in their efforts to keep our highways and roads safe. These heroes work hand-in-hand with us to fulfill our mission to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime, and prevent underage drinking.<\/p>\n
The 2018 keynote speaker will be Pete Skandalakis, Executive Director of the Prosecuting Attorneys\u2019 Council (PAC).\u00a0Established in 1975, PAC provides a number of important services to the hundreds of elected and appointed prosecutors statewide. The council consists of nine members, six district attorneys and three state court solicitors.<\/p>\n
