The Designated Driver Program is a partnership with Mercedes-Benz Stadium and its commitment to public safety to encourage fans to plan ahead to have a safe way to get home that does not involve drinking and driving.<\/p>\n<p>In the 2017 season, Atlanta United FC finished in the Top 5 of all MLS teams in TEAM Coalition\u2019s Designated Driver Standings for the number of fans who pledged to be designated drivers on event day.<\/p>\n<p>At the March 11th home opener against D.C. United, Mercedes-Benz Stadium drew a record crowd as <a class=\"text-red\" href=\"https:\/\/www.ajc.com\/sports\/atlanta-united-draws-fourth-largest-crowd-world-soccer-last-week\/SjLhaKocZM6LY2kpPHcUSP\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">the biggest crowd in MLS history<\/a>&nbsp;and the fourth-largest crowd in world soccer with 72,035 tickets sold and distributed.
