The combined total of both grants is $250,142.26.<\/p><p>The first grant provides $144,440.04 to reduce the occurrence of drunk and drugged driving throughout Georgia by providing DUI prevention initiatives for law enforcement, including court monitoring. MADD will utilize resources to support GOHS campaigns such as\u00a0Hands Across the Border,\u00a0Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over, Click It or Ticket, and law enforcement recognition events, including MADD Georgia\u2019s Annual Golden Shield Honors.<\/p><p>The second grant of $105,702.22 \u00a0provides much-needed funding to reduce the occurrence of drunk and drugged driving throughout Georgia by providing DUI prevention initiatives through education and community partnerships. MADD Georgia program staff will serve as lead team members on the state\u2019s Impaired Driving Task Force.
