For the past 18 years\, the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety has joined with MADD Georgia to celebrate our partners in their efforts to keep our highways and roads safe. These heroes work hand-in-hand with us to fulfill our mission to stop drunk driving\, support the victims of this violent crime\, and prevent underage drinking. \nAPPLICATION DEADLINE: April 30\, 2022 11:59 PM The application process is now closed.\n \nApplyRSVP \nThe 18th Annual Golden Shield Honor Awards will be presented on Wednesday\, June 15\, 2022 at The Dottie at Triumph Station in Fayetteville\, GA.
