SUMMARY:Power of Parents and Power of You(th) Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Please join us on March 16\, 2019 at the MADD Georgia State Office for a Power of Parents and Power of You(th) Workshop.  \n\n\n\nVolunteers are crucial to MADD and its programming\, and their passion and compassion for our mission helps MADD work towards a future of No More Victims®.\nMADD’s Power of Parents  program empowers parents of middle school and high school students to have ongoing\, intentional conversations about the dangers of and consequences of underage drinking. Parents have the power to equip their children to make smarter\, safer choices and to help prevent tragedies.\nMADD’s Power of You(th) curriculum plays a crucial role in part of MADD’s mission to prevent underage drinking. Power of You(th) helps youth explore the real\, short-term and long-term impacts of drinking underage\, including how it damages their brains and the long-lasting social consequences through interactive presentations delivered by certified facilitators.
