DESCRIPTION:The 14th Annual Golden Shield Honors recognizes law enforcement offices and agencies\, DUI prosecutors and community advocates who make a difference. For the past 14 years\, the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety has joined with MADD Georgia to celebrate our partners in their efforts to keep our highways and roads safe. These heroes work hand-in-hand with us to fulfill our mission to stop drunk driving\, support the victims of this violent crime\, and prevent underage drinking. \nThe 2018 keynote speaker will be Pete Skandalakis\, Executive Director of the Prosecuting Attorneys’ Council (PAC). Established in 1975\, PAC provides a number of important services to the hundreds of elected and appointed prosecutors statewide.
