Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) works to stop drunk driving, support the victims of this violent crime and prevent underage drinking.
In more than 28 years, MADD has helped save more than 330,000 lives through research-based programs, policy initiatives, exemplary victim services and public education. Although alcohol-related traffic deaths have decreased by 44 percent since MADD started, drunk driving remains the nation's most frequently committed violent crime.
MADD is one of the nation's largest crime victim assistance organizations. MADD Colorado serves nearly 1,200 victims and survivors each year. MADD provides services to victims and survivors at no cost including support from trained advocates and a network of peers, guidance through the judicial process, one-on-one support, and a 24-hour help line.
