Bill Before the Colorado Governor Offers Strong Incentives for Ignition Interlocks for First-Time Convicted Drunk Drivers Colorado moved closer to passing a lifesaving law offering strong incentives for first-time convicted drunk drivers to install an alcohol ignition interlock on their vehicle for eight months, instead of having their licenses suspended.
HB 1194 passed the Colorado Senate on Friday, May 2. MADD would like to thank Senator Jennifer Veiga and Rep. Joel Judd for their support in getting the bill through the House and Senate.
